Quick Gun முருகன், Rice Plate Reddy-யிடமிருந்து Beef ஆகும் COW-களை காப்பாற்றும் ஒரு COWBOY!! படம் 80-களில் ஆரம்பித்து 2007-ல் முடிகிறது...காமெடி செய்வதற்கென்றே எழுதப்பட்ட ஒரு கதை...purposefully sillllllly, MIND IT, I SAY!!! முதலில் இம்மாதிரியான ஒரு கதையை பார்பதற்கு தயாராக இருப்பவர்கள் மட்டுமே தியேட்டருக்கு செல்லவும்...இப்படத்தின் இன்னுமொரு ஸ்பெஷல், முழுக்க தமிழில் எடுக்கப்படும் ஒரு ஆங்கில திரைப்படம்... புரியவில்லயா, படத்தை பாருங்கள், புரியும்!! I SAY!!

படம் மட்டுமில்லை, படத்தின் Back-dropம் கூட காமெடி பண்ணுகிறது..ஒரு உதாரணம், ஒரு name board-ல், "INSTITUTE OF COCONUT TREE CLIMBING(Recognised), COURSES AVAILABLE ON BETULNUT, PALM TREE, etc.,... என்று எழுதியிருப்பார்கள்!! நான் இதுவரை பார்த்த தமிழ் படங்களில் ஒரு உண்மையான 'பின்நவீனத்துவ படம்' என்று தான் இதை கூறுவேன். BEAUTIFUL! OO HOO, AAH HAAA...அன்றைய Dr.MGR-லிருந்து, இன்றைய Dr.இளைய தளபதி வரை கலாய்திருக்கிரார்கள். அதிலும், விஜய்-யின் வாழ்க்கை ஒரு வட்டம் dialoge-ய் ஆங்கிலத்தில் சொல்லும் வசனம், டெர்மினேடர் பாணியில் மேலோகத்திலிருந்து, மின்னலாய் ஐட்டியுடன் பூமிக்கு வர, ஒரு சிறிய டெக்னிகல் ERROR IN TRANSFER என்ற குரல் ஒலித்ததுடன் மற்ற உடைகள் விழுவது, ரம்பாவின் கவர்ச்சி, என அத்தனையும் GUNTASTIC GALAATA!

பொக்கிஷம், ஒரு வாழ்க்கை புதையல்...

சில நாட்களாக ஒரு படத்தை குறைந்தது இரண்டு முறை பார்க்காமல் விமர்சனம் எழுதுவது இல்லை என்று இருந்தேன், ஆனால் பொக்கிஷம் படத்தை இரண்டாவது முறை பார்க்கும் பொறுமை-யே, மன வலிமையே இல்லாத காரணத்தினால் அதில் உள்ள சில நல்ல முயற்சிகளை பற்றி குறிப்பிட விரும்புகிறேன்.

காதல் ஒரு மனிதனை அந்நாட்களில் கடிதங்கள் வழியாக எப்படி ஆட்டிப் படைத்திருக்கிறது என்பதைக் மிக இனிமையாய் நம் கண் இமைகளை நனைக்கிறது, பொக்கிஷம்! நிறைவேறாத காதலுக்கு அர்த்தம் தர முனைந்திருக்கிறார். அதில் நம் கண்களில் நம்மை அறியாமல் நீர் வழிவது, சேரனின் வெற்றி...ஆனால், இவ்வளவு படங்கள் எடுத்தும் அவரிடம் உள்ள amature-ism ஒரு அறிய பொக்கிஷத்தை தொலைத்து விட்டது. தயவு செய்து நீங்கள் camera பின்னால் மட்டுமே இருந்தால் உத்தமம் ஐயா, வேண்டாம் நடிப்பு, please, முடியலை...ஆனால் உங்கள் முயற்சிக்கு என்னிடம் வார்த்தைகள் இல்லை. பல தவறுகலை தவிர்த்திருந்தால் இது ஒரு மாபெரும் படைப்பு. சீரிய முயற்சி, தாராளமாய் ஆதரிக்கலாம்...கொஞ்சம், sorry, நிறைய பொறுமை இருந்தால்!

மெல்லிய சாக்ஸஃபோன் கசிவால் சில இடங்களில் பின்னனி இசை பின்னி எடுக்கிறது, ஆனால் அதுவே பல இடங்களில் பாடாய் படுத்துகிறது...‘நிலா நீ வானம் காற்று'...பாடல், சின்மயி,விஜய் ஏசுதாஸின் குரலில் இனிமை.

இன்றைய மானங்கெட்ட மசாலா படங்களுக்கு நடுவில் மனதை உலுக்கும் ஒரு முயற்சி!!

Globalization and Kali Yuga

My anonymous friend comment on my last post,

"Modern Day Philosophy:Its all b'coz all the modern world is coming under one single ideology - that is money!.

The global mouse race called globalization and its close allies free trade and Special Economic Zones is hell bent on bring the globe under one single order called money, wealth and its material comforts.
So the fundamental question now is whether money is for human or other way around, the latter being the cause of all modern day effects!!.
A human is one who co-exists with nature not living against it!. And such a human certainly know how to respect another human. But in this Kali Yuga its all upside down"

...Nice, i really like his ideologies, especially on human existence and its destination. For this he must curse on Chinese for inventing money, but my ideologies are quite different from him. Globalization, is not a simple strategic activity, its a world longest war, and its a well derived evolution of nature from culture, tradition, geography and community, moreover it has all kind of respects along with the opportunity for co-existence for co-driver(another human). Its not all about the big eat the small, instead its about the fast eat the slow, nothing beyond much more than this in this globalization. If you can't adopt this situation, you'll be predominantly outstripped by your co-driver, then the differentiation is going to eat you. For instance, whatever you've got, no matter how small or big, sell it, trade it, leverage it, rent it, but do something with it to turn a profit and get into the game is called globalization!

By the way i don't know what he tries to mean about Kali yuga, but in my words Kali yuga means 'Know All Lies Instantly yuga' is called KALI yuga.

Show me the meaning of being alonly...

Many times i work at being alone, but what i feel then was very different from feeling loneliness. Loneliness, to me, is motivating myself, a reuniting my way of life and goals. Loneliness for me is never be a painful, when i know that I'm truly aware of me, i get out and go with people or otherwise i go with people and get into loneliness, then go with people. It teaches a lot, its the only thing that teaches time, the presence of present(and no one is an island, but whole world is an island!!) And it takes me to survive, then to fittest survive.

ஏதேதோ எண்ணங்கள்...

நான், அனைவருக்கும் பழகிய மனம் கொண்டவனாக இருந்தாலும், இழகிய மனம் கொண்டவன் என்று அனைவருக்கும் பரிட்சயம். ஆனால் இந்த இழகிய மனதினால் வந்த பலகீனமோ என்னமோ, சில வருடங்கலாக எந்த பெண்ணை பார்த்தாலும் அழகிய பெண்ணாக காட்சியளிக்கிறாள்(ஆனால் கண்கள் அழகான பெண்களை மட்டுமே பார்க்கும் என்பது வேறு விஷயம்), அதிலும் சிலர் சட் என்று மனதிற்குள் புகுந்துவிடுகிறார்கள். ஆனால் காதல் செய்யவும் பயமாக இருக்கிறது... ஆனால் சில பெண்களினாள் ஏற்படும் ரசாயின மாற்றங்கள் சில நாட்களேனும் இருந்தால் அது ஒரு இனிய அனுபவம் என்றே கூறலாம். காரணம் சில நாழேனும் அவலுடன் கனவினுள் வாழலாம், அவள் முகம் என்னை விட்டு மறையும் வரை. சிலர் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் நம் முன்னாள் தோன்றுவதினாள் ஏற்படும் சலிப்பு கூட சில சமயங்களில் ஏற்படுவதில்லை என்றால் பார்த்துக்கொள்லுங்களேன்!! இப்படி எல்லாம் காதலை பற்றி எழுத மனம் துடிக்கும் சில நேரங்களில்...இவை எல்லாம் காற்றினால் மரங்களுக்கு ஏற்படும் சல சல-ப்புகள் என்று அரிந்ததும் மனம், சலனம் இல்லாத நீரோடையாக அடுத்த கரையை நோக்கி கறையில்லாமல் மிதக்கிறது...

Travel, get inspired..

I can prove that the traveling is one of the best way to learn and get inspired. I realized this so early, since last one month i was busy on my usual things, now again i thought of re-starting my soul of vagabond. Before i start again i would like to share some of my experiences about travel.

A journey is an adventure, if you go with a group, that adventure will get lost its aesthetics, so better travel alone or with strangers. And wander the streets and experience the freedom of looking and getting inspired, also listen the taste, lifestyle, habits, food, from near or far.

Avoid going same places in same seasons. Some fools will get repeat their trips as if they get saturated with their pilgrimage.

Be open and hang out in local and multi-cultured bars. Of course, taste the blend or malt of the local drinks, and take long time to get drunken. Try to get speak with co drinkers, no one will worry/object what you 're speaking in that kinda travel places. Who knows, it pours some millions or billions in future.

Avoid going Museums, statues, historical places. You can see those things through some other means, or what might be the use of hanging over the hanged overs?

Don't buy too much which you should carry along with you and also don't try to watch all places or talk lots of people, nothing will be fulfilled. Be selective and seductive. If you are in long travel, then you can keep companion, but if its short, avoid companions, she might eat your brain along with your money.

No Fun

I'm trying hard to write some articles, but its harder to get time in these few days like before. One of them is about King of pop's death...But, nobody seems to believe Michael Jackson's shockingly short death, coz' his 'History' is like that. However his music ll live forever. What so sad here is, the specific cause of his death is yet to be find out!!

Another one is about 'Naadodigal' movie review. Its not because that it will give a new dimension to commercial cinema, but each and every scene in this movie created such an applause among the audiences. I've never seen such an acclamation in recent movies. This movie has lots of lessons for super stars and super directors.

And wanna write about futile Indian music culture. Actually, I'm running out of time now, since i need to finish off some very important works...till then, no fun.
